1. How to Wash Your Satin Pajamas

We highly recommend Hand Washing as the safest method to clean satin. However, machine washing is perfectly fine if the correct settings are used.

Option A: Gentle Hand Wash (Recommended)

Fill a clean basin or sink with cold or lukewarm water.

Add a small amount of mild, pH-neutral liquid detergent (formulated for delicates or silk).

Turn your pajamas inside out and gently agitate the water with your hands. Let them soak for 3 to 5 minutes.

Rinse thoroughly with cold water until all soap residue is gone.

Do not wring, twist, or scrub the satin fabric, as this can break the fibers and cause wrinkles or damage.

Option B: Machine Wash (Delicate Cycle)

Always turn the pajama set inside out to protect the glossy surface.

Place the items inside a mesh laundry bag to prevent catching on zippers, hooks, or the machine drum.

Select the Gentle or Delicate Cycle on your washing machine.

Set the water temperature to Cold (never use hot water, as it can shrink or weaken the fabric).

Wash with similar lightweight, delicate clothing of similar colors.

2. How to Dry Satin

Satin dries very quickly, but improper drying can ruin the fabric's structure and shine.

Air Dry (Best Practice): Lay the pajamas flat on a clean dry towel, gently press out excess water (do not wring), then hang them to air dry on a smooth, padded hanger.

Keep Away from Sun: Always dry your satin garments indoors or in the shade. Direct, harsh sunlight can cause colors to fade and dull the fabric's elegant shine.

Tumble Dry Low (If necessary): If you must use a dryer, select the lowest heat setting (Air Fluff or Low Heat) and remove the pajamas immediately after the cycle ends to prevent heavy wrinkling.

3. How to Iron & Remove Wrinkles

Satin can develop wrinkles after washing. To safely restore its sleek, smooth look:

Use a Garment Steamer: Hand steaming on a low-to-medium setting is the easiest and safest way to relax wrinkles out of satin fabric.

Traditional Ironing (Cool Iron Only):

Turn the pajama set inside out.

Set your iron to the lowest heat setting (the "Silk" or "Cool" setting).

Place a thin cotton cloth or towel between the iron and the satin fabric as a protective barrier.

Never iron directly on the high-shine face of the satin fabric.

4. Helpful Tips for Long-Lasting Luxury

Avoid Friction: Keep your satin pajamas away from rough surfaces, sharp jewelry, or Velcro, which can cause micro-tears or snags in the fabric.

Stain Care: If you spill something on your loungewear, treat the stain immediately with a delicate stain remover. Blot the spot gently with a clean cloth—never rub it harshly.
